Where is god?

i feel our life is a miracle, it is finely tuned, computerized & run by one master. You can call him by any name.it is one universal power & hence I would say that god is everywhere, it is there in you.

Connecting to god is fictitious?

I think god is sending messages all the time but we get so busy fulfilling our ambitions or our day to day tasks that we forget to connect to god. I have read a lot of spiritual works & believe that our body is just a place for the soul to dwell for the time being. We are here  for a purpose , & when the same is over, the soul shall find place in form of another body & the same shall keep continuing(the cycle of birth & re-birth/ reincarnation) till the purpose of the same gets fulfilled (i.e. we attain moksha or  mukti)..So the way to connect to god is to become more soul consciousness by doing some good work. Life is just not about profit & loss. One should follow ones conscience, & listen to the voice of one"s soul...

 

Karma Vs. Kismat…?

Karma is something that one earns daily & put it in one's account. It is  like a bank balance, a long term fixed deposit fetching interest. Some interest u get in this birth, & some keeps accumulating n & paid in the next or succeeding births…the one which gets accumulating & paid in the succeeding birth is what I call kismat, the luck that one has in her/his present birth…that is why we sometimes wonder why good things happen  to really undeserving people & vice-versa….& so if anything good comes your way, u should be thankful to your past deeds…& to make sure u have a good future, invest today in good karma so that you

 

Be contended, the sky never holds a single drop

Being a human being, an ordinary one, is what all matters. It is  so beautiful to be ordinary, just being yourself, like the trees & the birds…besides, you got to be proud of yourself, feel confident & living well. Nobody takes anything from the world & yet we run after meaningless material things. We all make mistakes in life. Earn money, but for the right reasons, rather than just the material gains makes us more content.

 

To get something you never had, you have to do something you never did.' 

When God takes something from your grasp, He's not punishing you, but merely opening your hands to receive something better.  Concentrate on this sentence... 'The will of God will never take you where the Grace of God will not protect you’ something good will happen to you; something that you have been waiting to hear.

There comes a point in your life when you realize:

 

Who matters?

Who never did?

Who won't anymore...?

And who always will.

So, don't worry about people from your past,

There’s a reason why they didn't make it to your future.

Surrender happens only with one love-the true one

One has to surrender to love with totality, not holding anything back. If you are holding something back you will not be able to experience love.One has to be a gambler, not calculating, but prepared to risk all. In one go stake everything you have, thats love.

 

Surrender, that is love, happens. It happens on its own.It is not a question of doing it. You can go to a thousand & one people, but it will happen only with one. And you cannot do it. It is nothing you can do. If you do it, it is not much use, because you are doing it…it simply happens…after all its love…love affair, not a bargain.

 

And it is natural that a seeker has to go to many people. Then somewhere, something clicks. It can click anywhere. It depends on the type of energy you have. Then suddenly you feel pulled..

That is what surrender is, love is…it has nothing to do with your beliefs, religion or pasts.

It is a blind love affair, it sees nothing

You fall in love with a man/woman…not that you manage it, not that you do love,   you simply find yourself in love

 

Remember, surrender is not something that is against you. How can it be against you? It does not mean that you have to change your natural way totally; it simply means to be totally natural. Go wherever it takes you, in whichever direction. Let it have its joy, & one day you will be finished with it, but that will not be by force, but on its own, out of love…

Surrender has nothing to do with fighting.

 

The first surrender that one feels is almost a kind of excitement of the new: it is like a honeymoon.

But soon you settle down. Then the honeymoon & the euphoria disappear: then the real work starts. And one day if one continues to work, the real surrender happens. Remember its only one day which you do not know when…then it is not a honeymoon.

But it is natural; first it has to be like a honeymoon. It is a kind of falling in love. But when you are excited& the euphoria is there, you feel that the surrender has happened...Soon you will have to take note of the reality& the hard facts of life,& there will be a thousand & one situations when you will say” the yes is not coming: the no comes, the doubt comes. The trust is not total”

And it is natural – nothing special about it, it happens to everybody.

This is how one grows: hesitating, doubting, saying yes, and saying no, wavering…this is how one grows...

But if one remains patient enough, then one day all those nos disappear. The ultimate victory is always of yes…but one has to wait…Aki has to wait, just be patient. Once you leave it, things start happening on their own.

People have forgotten the language of COMMITMENT, involvement...

People have forgotten the language of COMMITMENT, involvement...

because they  don t know the beauty of commitment,

they don t know the joys of commitment.They don t know

what it means to be utterly dedicated to something,

to somebody.To be utterly dedicated to something,

to somebody means giving birth to a soul in you.

To be a man or a woman means to be committed,

to be involved,

to be ready to go to the very extreme of some experience.

If it appeals to you, if it converts you,then one has to be ready

to go wherever it leads you - to the unknown, to the uncharted.

Yes,there are many fears, & there are many problems to be faced

& many challenges to be accepted,but this is how one grows,

this is how one matures...

Millions of people in the world remains immature, childish,

for the simple reason that they don t know how to commit themselves.

They remain rootless.

When you love a person you can t think otherwise.

You can t think that some other day you will not love this person;

that is impossible, that is not part of love.

The mind cannot conceive & comprehend that

there will be a time when you will not be with this person &

this person will not be with you - it simply does not happen.

This is COMMITMENT.

There is no more commitment , if love is not there.

Love is commitment ! Love gone, all commitment is gone: this is the meaning.

Once you have chosen a lover  &  it has become a commitment, a decisive moment has come.

& until you decide, there is wavering.

Once you have decided then there is no going astray.

By & by the mind also leaves the fantasy part ; it settles.

Once you have decided that this is a commitment,

that you are to be in it,

remain in it & there is no other alternative ; when you have closed all the doors & only one door remains open you simply relax, because there is no tension.

Tension is always because of choice.

All tension,all worry, is because of possibilities,alternatives.

Then there is madness because infinite possibilities are there.

There are millions  & millions of people on earth, & each one is a potential lover to you.

From any of these millions of people, anybody could have become a lover to you.

If you keep thinking about it, you will simply go crazy.

Once you are certain & you have chosen,wavering stops.

Once the mind knows that the decision is ultimate,final,

suddenly you will find that the thinking & the fantasies disappear.

Then there may be millions of people,

but there is no man except your lover : there is no woman except your beloved.

live life, like life

Don’t just have career or academic goals. Set

 

 goals to give you a balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before

 

 successful. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are

 

 all in good order.

 

 There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of

 

 your breakup. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is

 

 not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.

 

 "Life is one of those

 

 races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in

 

 your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same is with

 

 life where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth

 

 it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this

 

 spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.

 One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously.

 

 Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are

 

 like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another

 

 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to get so

 

 worked up? …………….

 

 It's ok, bunk a few

 

 classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave

 

 from work, fall in love, little fights with your spouse. We are people, not

 

 programmed devices........." :)

Participate in LIFE !

Participation is not really a technique:it is

falling in love ! Here s how to get started:

Participate in life! participate as deeply,as totally, as intensively ,as possible.

Risk all for participation.

For instance,if you want to know what dance is,don t go 

& see a dancer-learn dancing, be a dancer.

If you want to know anything,participate !That is the true & right way,

the authentic way to know a thing.

& then there will be a great meaning in your life.

& not only one-dimensional - multi-dimensional meanings.

you will be showered by meanings.

& life has to be multi-dimensional,then only there is meaning.

Never make life one-dimensional.That too, is a problem.

Somebody becomes an engineer, a journalist & then he/she thinks all is finished.

He/she becomes identified  with being an engineer.

Then his/her whole life is just an engineer.

& there were millions of things available.

But he/she moves only on one track,becomes bored.

Is fed up.Is tired,wearied.Goes on dragging.

Waits only for death.

What meaning can there be?

Have more interest in life.Don t be always 

a businessman, a professional, a sport person.

sometimes enjoy too.

Don t be just a doctor or an engineer,or a journalist or a chartered accountant - 

be as many things as possible !

Play cards,

play the guitar

hack the websites

sing a song

be an amateur photographer

a poet...

Find as many things as possible in life,

& then you will have rishness.
