live life, like life

Don’t just have career or academic goals. Set

 

 goals to give you a balanced, successful life. I use the word balanced before

 

 successful. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are

 

 all in good order.

 

 There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of

 

 your breakup. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is

 

 not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.

 

 "Life is one of those

 

 races in nursery school where you have to run with a marble in a spoon kept in

 

 your mouth. If the marble falls, there is no point coming first. Same is with

 

 life where health and relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth

 

 it if there is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this

 

 spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.

 One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously.

 

 Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are

 

 like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another

 

 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we really need to get so

 

 worked up? …………….

 

 It's ok, bunk a few

 

 classes, scoring low in couple of papers, goof up a few interviews, take leave

 

 from work, fall in love, little fights with your spouse. We are people, not

 

 programmed devices........." :)

Participate in LIFE !

Participation is not really a technique:it is

falling in love ! Here s how to get started:

Participate in life! participate as deeply,as totally, as intensively ,as possible.

Risk all for participation.

For instance,if you want to know what dance is,don t go 

& see a dancer-learn dancing, be a dancer.

If you want to know anything,participate !That is the true & right way,

the authentic way to know a thing.

& then there will be a great meaning in your life.

& not only one-dimensional - multi-dimensional meanings.

you will be showered by meanings.

& life has to be multi-dimensional,then only there is meaning.

Never make life one-dimensional.That too, is a problem.

Somebody becomes an engineer, a journalist & then he/she thinks all is finished.

He/she becomes identified  with being an engineer.

Then his/her whole life is just an engineer.

& there were millions of things available.

But he/she moves only on one track,becomes bored.

Is fed up.Is tired,wearied.Goes on dragging.

Waits only for death.

What meaning can there be?

Have more interest in life.Don t be always 

a businessman, a professional, a sport person.

sometimes enjoy too.

Don t be just a doctor or an engineer,or a journalist or a chartered accountant - 

be as many things as possible !

Play cards,

play the guitar

hack the websites

sing a song

be an amateur photographer

a poet...

Find as many things as possible in life,

& then you will have rishness.

Don't draw conclusions until you know all the facts

One old man was sitting with his 25 years old son in the train.
Train is about to leave the station.

All passengers are settling down their seat.
As train started young man was filled with lot of joy and
curiosity.

He was sitting on the window side.

He went out one hand and feeling the passing air. He
shouted, "Papa see all trees are going behind".

Old man smile and admired son feelings.

Beside the young man one couple was sitting and listing all
the conversion between father and son.
They were little awkward with the attitude of 25
years old man behaving like a small child.

Suddenly young man again shouted, "Papa see the pond
and animals. Clouds are moving with train".

Couple was watching the young man in embarrassingly.
Now its start raining and some of water drops touches the
young man's hand.



He filled with joy and he closed the eyes.
He shouted again," Papa it's raining, water is
touching me, see papa".

Couple couldn't help themselves and ask the old man.

"Why don't you visit the Doctor and get treatment for your son."

Old man said,
" Yes, We are coming from the hospital as Today
only my son got his eye sight for first time in his life".


Moral: "Don't draw conclusions until you know all the facts".
